![]() ![]() It must be something about permissions, I notice that other people with KDE and Wayland do work for them, but they all mention something about permissions. What's more, in that thread, in the end, the last post is mine (my nickname here was already taken in that forum.) That's right, right, I have it installed. On KDE/Plasma with Wayland, it might be necessary to install the xdg-desktop-portal-kde package first. asks for permissions, these notifications appear:īut as I mentioned, at no time does it ask for permissions, I haven't seen in the KDE options how to grant those permissions. This leads to a url with more information where I have seen that users with Wayland have managed to connect, it asks for permissions, they give them and connect, but through my cell phone (or laptop that I have next to me) I try to connect and it doesn't work for me. To improve the user experience, we recommend switching to an Xorg session." Wayland experimental support for inbound connections now available. On some rare occasions, from my mobile I have needed to connect to my PC, with wayland, although it is said there is support, it does not work for me. Sorry if that's not much of a help, I'm just throwing in my experiences.Yes, I am aware that there are better products than teamviewer, but when we sometimes have to help a family member who is in another city (and has another operating system, of course) the "easiest" thing is for them to have teamviewer installed. Of course it still warns me each time this option is on when I'm switching main screen, but neither the flickering, nor the 'full screen apps hidden behind df taskbar' bug has come back so far whether this option is on or off. Strangest thing is that I haven't been able to reproduce the issue yet - when turning the windows taskbars back on (taskbar settings -> taskbar behaviors -> show my taskbar on all displays), it works just fine. Not sure how it was enabled, and how comes this bug only emerged in the last few days. What helped (at least for now) was changing the primary screen to another and back - so the pop-up warned me that Windows' multimonitor taskbars are enabled, so I turned them off and that solved the issue. Restarting application, setting some corresponding options in other threads, reinstallig the application, trying non-steam version, etc. ![]() (meaning that when I reset it to 0 thinking it's fixed, once again the full screen apps were hidden behind the taskbar and setting the same 40px padding back again was correctly calculated again.) Interestingly, after I restarted, that extra padding was calculated from the taskbar, not the screen. Problem: While on and full screen apps don't correctly align to the taskbar.Īlthough with some minor visual sacrifice, a 40px padding can be be set in monitor configurations, but that doesn't solve the issue of 's DF taskbar flickering - turning on and off repeatedly. A few months old, freshly installed Windows with the usual consumer apps. No remote desktop, nothing extraordinary or niche. is my main screen with the windows taskbar. Setup: latest win11, latest DF beta version (13), I'm not op, but have/had* the same problem. I am so confused why this is not handled. I just want Windows to have the ONE single feature MacOS is better at multiple monitors with separate virtual desktop switching. I am now typing this response after I just installed Windows 10 because it is so massively frustrating. If I move them to the bottom, then your description occurs. Though, my taskbars are on the right side. Any window maximized completely COVERS the taskbar on the second/third monitors. I have had to revert back to stock taskbar as I run a lot of windows maximized, now I am annoyed that it is the same taskbar on all monitors. This may already be addressed, I was coming here to check. So the bottom of the window is behind the taskbar. So the window expands to the full screen size, ignoring the taskbar. Quote:I just came to the forums to check, but my main issue with Windows 11 is the start bar on the second monitor overwrites anything I maximize on that monitor.
